This plug-in provides the additional utility of generating & viewing of the amplitude vs. frequency spectrum of an input cube, an in-line or X-line to validate the bandwidth of the input & processed cubes. The spectrum is an actual representation of the amplitude & frequency content of seismic data. This plug-in being an experimental tool, amplitude spectrum is an ideal combination for comparison.

Plug-in Overview

Imaging of thin beds, when approaching the limits of seismic resolution is a problem. This tool tried to address the limitation on interpretability of the seismic data at thin bed level by enhancing the seismic resolution in time- frequency domain. It exploits the limit of resolution in the time-frequency spectrum to achieve the unconventional high resolution seismic and highlight the events.

Features

This application facilitates the interpreter with three mutually complementary algorithms, with the facility of resampling the data. All algorithms are featured with the flexibility to shuffle the parameter values. Algorithms can be applied individually or in a combination. Additionally the feature of generating amplitude spectrum is provided.
