Point

Point is a program for researchers and students that need to collect point counts. It has a simple interface that uses keypad input. Counts can be graphed and output to spreadsheets and graphics programs.

Platforms:

Windows 98SE and higher

Windows XP Professional SP1 is recommended

Features of the program are:

• Two hundred different grain/cement types.
• Customizable template and the ability to create your own templates!
• Input through the keypad.
• Count statistics.
• Set the number of counts to make and Point will beep when that number has been reached.
• Standard spreadsheet cutting and pasting.
• Graph the results as either a line or bar graph.
• Placeable(WMF) and Enhanced(EMF) metafile support for importing into other applications. You can also copy the metafiles through the Windows Clipboard.
• Windows interface, using standard Windows file open and save, color, and font dialog forms.
