CentriPro® software uniquely provides an automated image capture-and-processing framework for core-lab centrifuge apparatus in order to obtain an implicit estimation of relative permeability (kr) and capillary pressure (Pc) curves. CentriPro’s “Capture Module” is linked to the camera in centrifuge apparatus. This module captures and saves snapshots from the graduated tube (containing displaced fluids) inside centrifuge at dedicated intervals based on the imaging strategy defined by the user. Comprehensive experiment and plug information are also organized and stored in an integrated data-base via this module.

CentriPro’s “Processing & Analysis Module”, on the other hand, calculates and tabulates the volume of the displaced fluids versus time for each tube through image-processing on the acquired snapshots. As the primary objective, centrifuge experiment is replicated and kr & Pc curves are accurately estimated through appropriate analytical models as well as automated history matching techniques.
