eMULT™

SIP’s eMULT water bottom demultiple process removes multiples caused by the sea bed and any other layers which cause multiple reflections within the water layer. The Inter-layer (inter-bed) demultiple process efficiently removes multiple reflections occurring within the layers.

Along with improved clarity over the target zone, after the application of eMULT, it is clear to see that the bright water bottom multiple between Sele and Top Chalk has been removed, as have even the most severe inter-bed multiples within the chalk interval over the Jurassic (Hugin Fm).
