RSI’s interactive, rock physics and geophysical modeling application (iMOSS) is a powerful and sophisticated tool for reservoir rock physics analysis. It enables interpreters, modelers, and others geoscientists to control an array of parameters so that they may understand the underlying rock and fluid controls on seismic amplitude, impedance, AVA response and CSEM sensitivity.
iMOSS not only enables users to characterize and model a range of sediment/rock types, but also to calculate models to better understand how the seismic or CSEM signature changes with different rock properties. In addition, it enables users to build background and target models from imported well logs and conduct isotropic/anisotropic sensitivity studies.
