We offer our proprietary software to certain select clients. It can be provided as a plug-in for an existing software package or as a stand-alone. PROCESSING TECHNOLOGY
We have several differential processing technologies that we employ on seismic data. GEARS, our machine learning noise removal, is probably the best known. Additionally, we use Wave Equation Refraction Statics and FWC - a partial full waveform correction for the near surface - to improve the quality of seismic data. Our processing flow is specifically designed with amplitude integrity in mind for better seismic attributes.
QUANTA is our next generation tool for velocity analysis.
We are also able to generate QC attributes - a quality measurement of prestack data that can be generated at any point in the processing flow.
In addition to our proprietary technology we use Reveal by Shearwater for much of the heavy lifting of processing. This modern tool makes interactive QC easy and speeds up processing by using all available nodes.
ACQUISITION OPTIMIZATION
The challenge we face in acquisition is how to perform the complex global optimization of numerous factors. If we handle all considerations properly, we can provide confidence that an optimized seismic acquisition survey will achieve its objectives. Seismic noise is often the key issue keeping the data from reaching its full potential but until now survey design takes into account optimizing the signal, never minimizing the noise. Because seismic noise often varies dramatically within an area designing with the noise in mind can have a huge impact. We don’t need regular acquisition to help processing anymore, and the potential improvement in quality and costs are too great to ignore. Most surveys are irregular anyway, let’s embrace and optimize the irregularity.
