RMS offers a seismic module which empowers the user to fully leverage all available seismic data through every step of the seismic to simulation process: critical decisions will be made with a better understanding of the risk involved. The Seismic Attribute toolkit contains a suite of standard algorithms particularly useful for interpreting rock properties, structural features and hydrocarbon accumulations. The attributes can assist in the creation of structural model and are an invaluable guide to facies distributions with RMS’ superior seismic architecture ensuring exceptional speed. In RMS 2013, we continue our tradition of innovation by delivering our new Model Driven Interpretation tools. These allow users to build geologically consistent structural models from raw data during the interpretation phase, thereby effectively integrating interpretation and geomodelling. RMS allows users to explore geologic hypotheses and capture the uncertainty associated with faults and horizons. The uncertainties can be combined in the RMSUncertainty package to generate multiple realisations of the structural model. Multiple model realisations can be used directly in volumetric analysis and other integrated decision-support workflows.
