Geocap Seafloor

Geocap Seafloor lets you process survey data from multibeam echo sounders and create large high resolution grids. The strict project organization simplifies the way to build effective product lines.

The first version of Seafloor was released with Geocap 6.0.

Functionality for multibeam processing supports datagrams from Kongsberg Maritime (Simrad), Reson etc. In addition, CUBE will be made available. CUBE (Combined Uncertainty and Bathymetric Estimator), is an error-model based, direct DTM generator that estimates the depth plus a confidence interval directly on each node point.
