If there are tolerances among lines, the interpretations will be merged to the closest (projected) points.

Plug-in Overview

Interpretation Merger provides an interface for calculating distances from a reference well or polygon to every well loaded in the project. These distances are stored as point well data that can be used for display alongside other data items in Petrel windows. This information is very useful when working in intersection.

Has to have Petrel already installed for usage.

Features

Calculate the fixed distance between an object (well or polygon) and all other wells in project. Choice to calculate the distance from either the Well Head, Total Depth, or a specified Measured Depth of the well. Ability to override display elevation of the points created for better visualization. Calculation of direction azimuth from the reference well for spatial location of project wells.
