Sieve

Sieve is a program for storing, processing, and graphing sieve data. The program works with ½ PHI data, following a laboratory procedure outlined in the help file.

Platforms:

Windows 98SE and higher

Windows XP Professional SP3 is recommended

Features of the program are:

• Spreadsheet input and output with standard cutting and pasting.
• Import and export of tab-deliminated and Excel files (limited).
• Standard statistical parameters using the method of moments (mean, sorting [standard deviation], coarsest one-percentile, skewness, and kurtosis).
• X-Y and bar graphs, displaying parameter vs. parameter, arithmetic cumulative, and frequency histogram plots.
• Multiple document interface so that raw, processed, and graphed data can be displayed side by side.
• Export placeable and enhanced metafiles and bitmaps of graphs. A vector graph can also be copied through the clipboard.
• Windows interface, using standard Windows file open and save, color, and font dialog forms.
