Versatility
PLATO uses all the data simultaneously to determine the flow profile and even goes farther. Conservation laws, such as material balance, momentum balance and energy balance (temperature) are constraining the model. Continuous logs and stationary data can be used at the same time. When new data becomes available, it is easily and immediately integrated with existing data. PLATO can be customized and extended in-house as a complete SDK is available.
Interactivity
PLATO uses optimization to reconcile a global production model to the measurements. This method allows automatic determination of the flow regimes and provides interactive quality check on whether the model and tools theoretical responses match the individual logs. Zones of uncertainty or error are highlighted to guide the analyst to the next area of focus.
Efficiency
PLATO uses streamlined easy-to-use workflows to guide the user through the analysis. Its fast optimization engine calculates production and injection profiles as well as fluids characteristics. By using startup templates and automatically generated reports, PLATO dramatically reduces the analysis time.
