Core Chopper takes digital images of boxed core and quickly turns them into depth-indexed image strips for import into your petrophysics program.
A system of templates means that you can batch convert images (as long as they are all similarly aligned), saving hours of time.
The picture below shows a typical input photograph. The program will calculate the depths of each box section, remove the surrounding text, box features and scales, and write out six depth-indexed BMP or CGM images for import into another software package.
