Reservoir simulation software GPTSim introduction
GPTSim is a general purpose K- value compositional model and powerful reservoir simulation software. It can deal with different reservoir types, multiple oilfield development approaches, a variety of well-types, multiple water body types, and holds many functions of restarting, local-grid-refine, wellbore PVT , multiphase flow, etc. Three modules (pre-processing module, execute-monitor module and post-processing module) are included in GPTSim. According to reservoir types and development approaches, its core execute-monitor modules can be divided into black oil module Exodus , thermal recovery module Exotherm , polymer flooding and profile controlling module Exopolymer . Pre-processing module is consisted of map-digitization, history data entrance and pre-processors. It is helpful for users to input data, build geological and fluid model, input historical data and well events data, ultimately establish a numerical model. The main execute-monitor module is full implicit, using Newton-Raphson techniques. According to the component numbers, GPTSim can adjust calculation methods automatically. Then calculation speed becomes faster and the results are more reliable. Users can monitor running status and results in real time. Post-processing module provides abundant and convenient functions of mapping, tabulation, two-dimensional and three-dimensional demonstration for users. In addition, GPTSim also provides pre-tax economic evaluation function,which can assist users to do economic evaluation and scheme selection.

On the top of all the forms detail descriptions are given. The columns in the table provide unit conversion functions. It is very convenient to make the conversion. Different units are accepted in one table, for example, imperial and international units can coexist in different columns.
