GRAF

GRAF is a general post-processing package for the ECLIPSE simulator. It provides facilities for displaying simulation results and user data in graphical form. Various types of plots are available, including line graphs, colour-filled grid solution displays, contour displays, arrow diagrams, transmissibility displays and vertical equilibrium displays.

GRAF may be used interactively, via menus, or driven by high level commands in a graphics run file. High quality graphics for reports can be produced on a wide range of plotters.

GRAF users should note that many of the functions provided here are being replaced and extended by the latest SIS product developments:

• ECLIPSE Office provides an interactive environment for simulation pre- and post- processing. It can be used for creation and modification of models, submission and control of runs, analysis of results and report generation. See the "ECLIPSE Office User Guide" for more details.
• In addition to interactive graphics, ECLIPSE Office also supports GRF commands, similar to the GRAF graphics run file (see Appendix I for information on compatibility).
• FloViz provides advanced 3D visualization capabilities for display and analysis of reservoir simulation results. FloViz can display both structured and unstructured grids. Streamline displays are also available, for use with FrontSim. See the "FloViz User Guide" for more information.
